I do often wonder though if sometimes we are so conditioned by what a good voice should be that we tend to hyper fixate on intonation and ignore impure intonation even if it has good pitch 

i often find i like Taylor becuase she’s not afraid to leave raspy tones in her songs you get a raw emotion thats lacking else where but I can see how that might be a sensory issue for some people (weeeiiird people)

I think what sounds pleasant to one person can be completely different to what sounds pleasant to somebody else though no matter how good their actual singing is.
