Getting a job

I’m 29. I have very little work experience and nothing from the last 6 years.
I'm in desperate need of money and need a job. I’m afraid no one will want to hire me.
I’ve applied for PIP and have been denied. I’m so desperate. Any advice?

  • Have you considered contacting local farms to see if they need any seasonal labour? There are probably lots of crops to be harvested at this time of year.

Other things to consider would be the Post Office for delivery staff and local factories / warehouses for assembly like / picker type roles.

Do you have much experience that could help in applying for similar positions to before?

Any qualificatons? If you like numbers for example then how about studying accountancy? You can do most of this on your own.

How about your areas of interest? Sometimes these can lead to jobs that are easier to sustain.
