Getting a job

I’m 29. I have very little work experience and nothing from the last 6 years.
I'm in desperate need of money and need a job. I’m afraid no one will want to hire me.
I’ve applied for PIP and have been denied. I’m so desperate. Any advice?

  • I am in a similar situation. I thought about applying for a job at some Library, or as a cleaner or janitor / night shift. These are jobs that seem not so socially demanding for me.

Also, if you want to make your background look better you can try volunteering (I like to help the botanic garden for example, or the elderly with technology.)

For the jobs, I would start with myjobscotland if you are there, or some government website (not indeed or all that crap.)

This isn't great advice but just some options.

  • For pip I’d do the appeal and mandatory reconsideration process

im dreading my own pip application but I need the extra money to help buy things to make my daily life easier

co-op offer gaurenteed interviews for inclusivity reasons too fi that helps
