Light sensitivity

Hi all,

I work in a nursery where the rooms are lit by 9 very bright hospital type lights. I can handle them for a certain length of time but they really bother me especially on a bad day. I spoke to my manager about possibly changing the bulbs to less brightness or using lamps, both were a no.

She suggested trying to find out if there was anything which can be done to help on my glasses.

I'm reluctant to spend more money tbh, but with no other option....

Does anyone know if there is something out there that isn't sun glasses, because I don't think she'll want me wearing them at work?

  • You can get various tints on glasses, so I wonder if you could get glasses with a slight tint rather than dark ones like sunglasses.

I wear glasses and have an anti reflection surface on them which helps reduce the impact of bright lights.

It would be worth asking an optician for options available.
