Do you think autistic people who enjoy a show are more likely Tor class them selves as part of that fandom?
I don’t class my self as a who isn even though I know a lot about doctor who nor a dwarfer a or a Trekkie
the only one where I can say im defo a part of the fandom is being a swiftie (I can see how thats shocked a lot of you) becuase I know the small facts like the shout out during delicate when it’s played live or what she said under ansthetic or what she says most in interviews or why track 5 is so important on all her albums or how she started playing guitar and how old she was ehen she wrote her first song etc
but I think in that sense autistics are more likely to become a part of a fandom quicker becuase we never forget what we learn if it’s something we love but it’s harder for us to make friends in that fandom which sucks as I really could do with a swiftie friend irl right now
