I don't really see what the point of this thread is.
What do you hope to achieve? It does not make anything better or change anything. It just puts people off as much, maybe more so. People already said what they wanted to say, saying it again is not adding anything.
Be the change you want to see:
If you want to make the place supportive, then post supportive stuff on other threads.
If you have an issue with a rule, debate and change the rule.
If you want to be a mod, try being a mod.
If you want to offer advice, offer advice.
If you want interesting threads, start interesting threads.
If you want to complain, offer suggestions and solutions.
If you want things to be positive, write positive things

Stuart, I think I pre-date you here by quite a margin l spent a very long time here doing exactly what you’ve just suggested but with depressing regularity someone will bully on here and with equally depressing regularity the mods will make the wrong decisions about it and they never listen.
And frankly your clueless reply here is the final straw for me.
