Aspie Quiz

I didn't get past the introduction page, it was all in bright colours which were a bit jarring and I could see no way to actually get to the quiz, just a couple of boxes asking me to register. I don't like giving out my details to all and sundry.

Thats no thte page I got, the one I got was rainbow coloured with an unfriendly font and I had nothing like the box at the bottom like you've shown me.

Maybe. But I don’t think that would be very accurate for research, because it would only have people taking it in places where it’s “advertised”. If there’s a country with no internet, or where autism isn’t widely known then they probably won’t be taking the quiz. Also I know I have taken it multiple times so since they don’t track who’s taking it, it’ll count as individual people and data

Besides the DSM criteria (since I’m in US) says stuff like “atypical use of eye contact (relative to cultural norms)”. It would make more sense to me if the quiz was asking to make more ‘accurate’ results. With the eye contact example, if it was someone filling out in a culture that finds eye contact offensive then they might get a inaccurate score if it’s basing off of the norms of England for example.

Could be demographic information they are after to find out roughly where people are from, their gender, age and compile it together to try track which country or heritage shows the most autistic traits to find a common link. Autism exists all over the world as far as I am aware but there’s probably small pockets with a higher percentage. Perhaps if that could be established it would help in trying to discover causes although genetics, biology and environments all play a role according to current science. 

I believe the registration is for somthing else. I just clicked the “I accept” under “go directly to the test” and it doesn’t ask for any login info. It just asks for age, gender, plus some other stuff but not all has the red asterisk signifying that it’s required (I assume those are to compare to any ways that ages might usually act or how different genders are socialized?). And results supposedly are deleted after a couple hours
