I have noticed square enix puts a lot more commercial effort into final fantasy 7 than any other like spin-offs, merchandise, repackages and remake after remake. I'd rather they show some love to the 16 bit FF4, 5, 6, or something. Sure FF7's the game that took JRPGs mainstream and put the franchise on the map, but I figure it's good to honour the franchise's predecessors too.
