I’ve been listening to late/self-diagnosed neurodivergent adults say the same thing over and over:
“I just wish I had a map for how my brain works.”
So I started building one.. Because for so many people, especially those who were diagnosed later or had to figure it out on their own, the world has never handed over a guidebook. Instead, it's been years of trial and error, mislabeling, burnout, and trying to make sense of things using tools that weren’t built for your wiring.
This app is called Autheia. It's a personalized, self-paced, gamified app to help people explore their patterns, needs, and internal world in a way that’s affirming and pressure-free.
Not therapy.
Not a productivity hack.
Just structured self-discovery for those who’ve spent their lives feeling like they were working with the wrong toolkit.
It guides you through “insight quests” on things like:
-
Burnout, masking, shutdowns
-
Social fatigue and emotional regulation
-
Boundaries, relationships, and communication
-
Reframing internalized shame, building confidence, and more
Imagine if Duolingo helped you understand yourself—not just a language.
It’s still early-stage, and I really want to build it with this community. If you’re open to sharing your thoughts, here’s a short (2-minute) feedback form:
Note: This isn’t for research or data collection. No marketing, no selling—just trying to build something real and get it right.
And if you're someone who might want to collaborate (designer, dev, writer, or lived experience), there's a place in the form for that too.
Really appreciate anyone who takes a moment to share. It means a lot.
