Update on diagnosis

So i spoke to the doctors this morning, which i wasn't looking forward to.  From an introduction post i made i got some advice on help with speaking to the doctors.
i wrote down everything i wanted to say and managed to get through most of it without clamming up .

The doctor was ever so good and asked me relevant questions and  gave me some information on right to choose.
Apparently the NHS waiting times are 2 years but right to choose is available from as little as 7 weeks.
She will be ringing me next week to book the appointment and fill out the right forms.

  • I have just signed up through my GP for right to choose. I don’t know how long I will have to wait to be assessed. I had to do the short 10 question assessment and then a big long form which I had to answer in sentences. It took quite a long time to fill in. Now I am just waiting to hear back. Not sure how to feel right now or what I should be doing.
