getting life insurance

Hi looking at life insurance and really struggling. As soon as I put I have ADHD, didn't get as far as autism two just said they can not insure me. Did have insurance with our mortgage but thats all paid off now. Just want something that will pay for a funeral and have a lump left over for my wife. Anybody know any companies who spacalise in insurance for the likes of us? Also must be done online, not in the frame of mind to speak to people.

  • You could just self insure. Open a joint savings account with your wife and contribute to it every month. If one of you dies, the other then owns the account and can withdraw the money without any need to go through probate (check with your bank that it is set up that way). Unless you think your time is nearly up, it would probably be a lot cheaper than paying for insurance (which is basically the same thing, but with big admin fees).
