Hi everyone ive recently just been diagnosed with AuDHD at the age of 36. Ive struggled all my life and been very impulsive lonely and isolated and always felt like i didn't fit in or belong anywhere and i was always looking for validation and people pleasing.  Im a father of two children aswell

    I hope your diagnosis has helped.

    I just put up with struggling not realising there might be a reason. I was told I didn't need anyone, possibly due to double empathy problem, so have spent 30 years alone as it seemed easier, before finding out

    I think wanting validation, support, reassurance, with a temptation to people please and fit in, makes you vulnerable to manipulation and burnout.
