Family suddenly ignoring my communication needs

I don’t have an Autism diagnosis but my family and myself think I am Autistic.  I have a diagnosis of dyspraxia which can make it  difficult to process what people are saying to me. Even though my family know I need people to say it like it is to me as I can’t read between the lines, they’ve started talking about important things to me but what feels to me like a riddle which I just misinterpret.  I have told them to say what they mean but they won’t. They say what they mean to each other

  • Perhaps there isn't an easy way for them to say it. It depends what they are talking about.

Perhaps you could write down the main points, it will slow things down a bit and force you to hear what is being said, then you can read it again or look things up and maybe it will become clear later.

Otherwise I am not sure what you can do. Maybe record it and ask the internet to interpret.
