After a 4 year journey, I had my assessment today, I was told at the start of today that I would receive feedback at a later date. At the end of the sessions I was told that they wouldn’t need to go away and confer, I’m autistic and have strong signs of dyslexia. I don’t really know what I feel yet, I am exhausted and glad it’s over, the dreaded frog book made an appearance. They had apparently decided on me after the first part of the assessment.

I remember all too well how exhausting the process was for me, and how my emotions were all over the place for a good while afterwards.
