Any recent experiences with wearing the Pride Sunflower lanyard/similar visible symbols?

I discovered and bought the Pride Sunflower lanyard after my recent diagnosis in the hope that my experiences in public will be less uncomfortable; I am covid cautious and continue to mask in supermarkets and public transport+, which, combined with my neuroatypical behaviour, e.g. hand sanitising and glass cleaning rituals, intensely comparing prices and repeatedly tracking back and forth between different aisles, never fails to arouse attention of security staff and getting unsubtly followed and monitoring. (I understand retail crime is prevalent, but it's personally frustrating and also a waste of their time suspecting the wrong person.)

I also hoped the Pride references, as a queer person, would raise general awareness of intersection of disability within the LGBTIQA+ community.

However, with the "anti-woke" cultural wars etc. on the rise here, I just wondered if anyone had any experience with these kind of visible markers? Or thoughts on what public sentiment I might expect if/when I start wearing my lanyard, and any possible risks? Pray
