What are your everyday life-saving accommodations?

Daily dose of positivity! Lemme know, cause I'm looking to commiserate: What's the one accommodation you've made for yourself that's life changing, and how has it improved your quality of life. It doesn't have to be an official workplace accommodation, but can be anything small and simple.

For instance, ever since my diagnosis, I've made tons of adjustments, most notably allowing myself to carry my headphones and a fidget toy wherever I go. Before, I'd try to tough out overwhelming sensory environments, but now I let myself slip on a podcast, video, or just sweet, sweet silence and squeeze my stress ball to my heart's delight. It's made my quality of life much more stable—whereas before I'd have to wait for a good sensory day to get anything done, now I can gear up and go shopping whenever the time calls for it, regardless of how many spoons I have.

Love,

Max
