I am just wondering if people on here have seen an increase in hate against those who claim disability benefits and PIP? I see it popping up all the time on tiktok and facebook in particular.

For those on benefits how do you cope with this, for me i feel extremely guilty that i am in the situation i am in.

How do you cope with this negativity?

  • Social media is a lie. Peoples lives on there is rarely real - you really need to route out those that are. Those who are commenting on others receipt of benefits/PIP are most likely to be either jealous or are pushing some political agenda. My advice is to block them, or avoid social media altogether.

    I usually find them on peoples pages who are trying to help those in need.. its sad the world has come to this.

    I am also hearing the hate from politicians though.. I will struggle to come off social media because it is my connection to the world..

    I am starting to block these types of people though
