My husband left me last year after 25years of being together. He said that I became a different person after I got diagnosed 5 years ago & that I always put my theatre group in front of him.
I wonder if that's it, at 46, am I done ?
How would I even go about finding new person even if I wanted to?
Hello! Why would it be late at 46? I know lots of people that got married for the first time after 45, had children, and are living a happy life. There isn't a right or wrong age to start a relationship. And you are really young!! Maybe you feel this way because your self esteem was damaged due to your break up.
You can meet people in various places. You could start a new hobby, or volunteer and socialise with your peers there. You could ask your friends to suggest people for you to meet. Or try meeting people online! There are many dating sites you could use. It's not the easiest thing in the world to meet someone compatible with you (as you probably already know), but now you know yourself better and maybe you'll get luckier!
