Sick to death of benefits

I for one absolutely hate being on benefits, I always blamed myself for not being able or willing to suck it up and just do whatever was available despite the inertia and subsequent meltdowns.

It's so maddening to have your life picked apart by apathetic minions of the establishment, faceless voices and words reminding us we are powerless.

After a gauling telephone interrogation by one of their flunkies, I was so pissed at myself my head was spinning and genuinely thought my heart was going to explode.

  • I understand how you feel, but I wanted to point out that working as an autistic isn't ideal either. For example, I'm a private tutor. I love my job, but it drains me! I can't work for more than 3 hours per day, because I don't have enough energy to do it. Which means that I make less than the minimum wage. As a bonus, I come home everyday totally exhausted. I have to unwind for at least an hour in order to be able to do anything. Of course every person is different, and maybe others find it easier. But that is my experience!
