Recruiting autistic adults for an online survey exploring how autistic people use their strengths to manage and overcome difficulties and differences.

We are currently recruiting autistic adults for an online survey exploring how autistic people use their strengths to manage and overcome difficulties and differences. We have had a good response to the survey so far, but we are still welcoming participants – particularly males, ethnic minorities, and those who have not attended university.

The survey starts with a series of multiple-choice questions about you. You will then be asked to respond to six open-ended questions about your strengths and any differences and difficulties you manage or have overcome. Completing the survey takes up to 20 minutes. Participants will have the option to enter a prize draw for a £50 Amazon UK voucher at the end of the survey.

To take part, participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Self-identify as autistic or formally diagnosed with autism
  • Aged 18 years or over
  • English-speaking
  • Not a previous participant in an interview study by Alanna Shand

If you meet the above criteria and would like to take part, please follow the link below for more information and access to the survey: https://qualtrics.kcl.ac.uk/jfe/form/SV_cAxR6YUwWDxPkNg

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at alanna.shand@kcl.ac.uk.
