It's been a productive day. I managed to get my GP to agree to put me on the ASD Assessment waiting list through Right To Choose, (happy tears smiling face with tear) and I also might've managed to sort out my tax bill issue with HMRC  This has been a huge weight on my shoulders since I got my tax bill last June which caused a huge shutdown and related depression on and off for the following months. I called HMRC today to sort out a late payment fine due to not being able to pay it, and the lady on the phone was very kind and helpful. I've also been able to borrow from the bank so that I can reduce my outgoings and hopefully manage a little better going forward from here.

The first half of April has been really positive. I really hope the second half follows suit.

  • Good for you, man. Half the battle is getting started, and it’s rough to push through a shutdown, but you did it and you should be proud of that. Congrats on the future assessment! That is so important to have closure on, and we’re here to support you.
