Not happy report received

Hi everyone

i received my report today from my asd assessment and I’m not happy, it’s only 5 pages one of which gives links to websites for info on autism, there is no mention of my being vulnerable, not liking being around people and my sensory issues, instead it gives my positive aspects that I was able to communicate verbally very good, I didn’t think so personally I just gave 1 word answers to their questions

i was looking forward to this report as I thought I might get some support I desperately need

  • The report is not always particularly long - but you should be able to recognise yourself within it.  It is not unusual for the report to mention your strengths as well as your challenges.  It might be worth leaving it a few days and then reading it again to see if you still feel the same way about it as you did the first time you read it.  Maybe then, if there is someone you trust in the real World - you could have a conversation with them about how you are feeling about everything.
