Isperg has "departed" himself

Isperg has decided (.....and knowing him.......with strong supporting evidence)  that he is no longer welcome to post on this platform due to the vagaries of "moderation prison."

Are we (the membership/usership) happy, or unhappy, that he has made that decision?!

  • Well I’m happy for him and sure that he would have spent much of his time thinking about his decision. But I’m sad he won’t be around here any longer, his way of explaining things always made me smile. He explained things in a very mechanical manner which reminded me of my father who is very similar. I will miss him personally.

    So long ISperg

He is a smart cookie so won't have done this on a whim or based off poor quality information.

I've had a long chat with him in the past about the site privacy and claims made by the mods - they have changed their story recently and admitted they are able to read private messages and I think this was a key reason for iSpergs departure.

The over zealous spam bot seemed to have a particular taste for his posts which probably gave the impression he was being targetted - I can see how he could have reached that conclusion.

I will miss his posts as he often gave a perspective that I did not have on subjects I thought I knew well - he certainly enriched the experience here for me.

Good luck with whatever you do iSperg and I hope you get that motorbike back on the road soon.
