Hi, i work in a children’s home which i really love and enjoy

however, i am contracted to work 37.5 hours a week, which for me is manageable, however it took me time to get to a place where i am able to work this amount of hours, and the manager of our company wants to change our contracts to be more flexible with our hours. for example, in term time we may work as little as 25 hours a week, and in half terms we can work as much as 48 hours a week. for me i don’t think this is manageable, firstly because of the variation in hours and the little amount of structure, but i also think that 48 is too much

does anyone have any advice of points i can make to him to state that this is unfair, and i dont want to go through with the change in hours
