As it can take a looong time for faults to be remedied, I thought this could fill in for now?
1. My Vabysmo eye injection this afternoon at the hospital.
2. I wore my 'hidden disabilities' thingy around my neck.
3. Home and having a curry tonight

Age range 18-80 guessing I'm not great with judging age. There were only two youngsters, I would say the rest were over 40, with an even mix of women and men.
We met at Costa coffee, we had a space right at the back just for our group.
Some people were very quiet (me included) one guy spoke quite a lot but he was just asking the newbies about themselves. (He was a retired doctor) There was also an ex para there too.
It was all very interesting listening to their life stories and their special interests.
Ive already booked another meet up through Eventbrite with NDSA, in another town.
I'm the most awkward, I'll at ease person normally and although I was the only one that was twitching a bit I didn't feel out of place or embarrassed.
Please try it Damojo I don't think you'll regret it.
What sort of age range was there? There's an "adult Autistic space" a few towns over from me and I just feel I'll be about 30 years older than the next oldest person. The organisers post pictures of the venue and a list of activities (board games, really, which aren't particularly my thing), but my problem is more with people—particularly strangers—than with venues. The pictures don't help me much to try to get my little brain cells lined up enough to feel comfortable going. I see myself sitting quietly in a corner for an hour and then going home.
And I do call yours a social life. The last time I was out of the house with anyone who wasn't a family member was January ... and the January before that. I'm thinking of not going next January—the vibe was a little off the last couple of times, including having someone chastise me for not talking enough to the new guy when I thought I was knocking it out of the park (relatively).
Anyway, go you! It's great to know that there might be hope for the rest of us yet.
Ha ha!!
I wouldn't call it a social life, but the autism group was unusual, but in a good way. There were 10 of us in the group and 4 of that number were new.
I've never socialized with a group where you can relate to everyone. So yeah, really good, but quite surreal.
I had my ADHD assessment this morning and got my preliminary diagnosis.
I'm out for coffee with my wife and the sausage roll (bacon, brie and black pudding) was outstanding. We may also be purchasing cake for later!
I have a load of washing on and it's currently not raining (small victory)
A social life! We're all super jealous! How did it all go? Do tell!
(For comparison, I did the laundry and used a tumble dryer. Literally.)
Aww I hope you have a good session with your psychiatrist! Wishing you the best x
If you ask me, Yoshi and Kirby have the best abilities in their own games but also in smash bros, I’d actually say they’re the most powerful but that’s me I guess.
Aww thank you! Waddledee is the little orange guy with the paler face he’s like somewhat pear shaped but he’s in the Kirby series ! I even saw like a fan art of new born waddledees which was just like the cutest thing! And Yoshi has been my favourite character when I was like 6 years old. Remember loving him from Mario 64 DS! Will be needing these guys again today I think but I’m coming home Saturday then I’ll probably cry because I’m not on holiday but also because it wasn’t as good as I was expecting! Curse me and my expectations
I often feel like the only person who doesn’t like Kirby or tosh is asthetic but they are cool for abilities
1. Working with the spoons I've got today.
2. Get to talk things through with my psychiatrist this afternoon.
3. Focusing on the basics: eating, moving, self-care all I can
Hi sorry to hear about your holiday. Kirby is super cute. Yoshi, is my all time cheer-up go to.(I don't know Waddledee.) Hope you feel better soon. x
This is very hard with how I’m feeling but
1. Dropped a class (surprising easy and quick to do). Gonna get a “W” on my transcript but that’s probably better than failing. Also that class what the most understimulating thing I have ever encountered
2. Going to be Oaken for Halloween
3. Ali (my dog) is better from being sick last two days. …I suspect it might’ve been from me taking her to a splash pad that said no dogs…but she okay now
1. My visit to the dentist went okay - she thinks she will be hopefully be able to save my teeth - though may lose 1
2. Emailed my ex-apprentice again and hoping a few of us from work can meet up and give him some support.
3. Have an urgent appointment with my psychiatrist to try and prevent me from getting into a bad low.
This is covering the last few days due to being busy
