Trump and his minions are still terrifying me, the man seems to have no conception that words and especially his words have consequences. How can he impose peace on Ukraine? He dosent' want Ukraine at the negotiating table. He thinks that the mere fact of having American miners and engineers there will be enough to deter Russian aggression in the area. I think if this imposed deal goes ahead then Ukraine will end up a failed state, look what American businesses did in Iraq and Afghanistan and who knows how many African and south American states?
I think the best thing Europe as a whole can do is re-arm ourselves and tell the Americans to pack up thier military bases and get the hell out of the way, why should they have bases here if they're not going to contribute to our defence?
