Nimbus/Access Card Help

Hello - I was wondering if anyone has had any luck getting a Nimbus Card?

I have a Nimbus Card for queuing due to the anxiety I can get in unknown places, however I am unable to get an essential companion. I was wondering if anyone else had any experience on getting the essential companion due to their autism making them so anxious that they would simply not go to an event without one?

I have no evidence to back this up as I was told I would not benefit from my local mental health services.

  • Sorry to hear you're having problems.

    I can tell you my experience but it may not help.  I was successful with the +1 because although I was unsuccessful with my PIP application, I was awarded 4 points for the "Mixing with People" section and so I submitted this as proof.  I also submitted my Blue Badge image and formal ASD diagnosis as proof.

    Thanks for this I submitted my PIP assessment, which they will hopefully accept.  I am frustrated my Dr won't supply a letter in time - they said they could send an email though which they wont accept Upside down  Fun times over here lol
