Exploring the lived experiences of the autistic migrants in the UK

My name is Anya Ovcharenko, I am recruiting interview participants for the second phase of my PhD research at the University of Exeter on the experiences of autistic migrants in the UK.

Study focus:
How being both autistic and a migrant shapes daily life, self-understanding, and future aspirations.

Criteria:

  • First-generation migrant
  • Diagnosed or self-identified as autistic
  • Non-native English speaker
  • Based in the UK
  • Preferably non-binary or male-identifying & non-academic (as I have already interviewed enough female-identifying participants)
