The community manager has told me that there are no further updates planned for the forum and the request for a facility to mute other users may be considered if they ever make future developments.

Given that the advertised new forum was really just a minor upgrade / patch not a new forum and that no new features were added at all, I personally don’t believe we will ever see this feature added.

I know a lot of people here are quite fed up with me and I am tired of being triggered,  so I think it may be time for me to accept this isn’t a forum for people like me.

  • This is supposed to be a space for all. I am sorry to read of another member deciding to leave because of the actions of others.

    What we have to ALL remember is that we are all different and we will have differing points of view. Some may align with your views other not so much. One of the traits described for autism is 'entrenched views'. I guess we can all be a little entrenched at times. What we do not want is for this space to become an echo chamber.

    We must learn to accept to agree to politely disagree at times and step back from interacting with what triggers us.

    Sorry 'A' don't mean to preach.

    I will miss you if you decide to leave. Although we have not interacted a great deal it is somewhat comforting (not the correct word but can't get the correct one !) to a fellow Scot on the forum.
