Private ASD Assessment - Autism Specialist Award/Accreditation

Hi 

First time posting (Hello Hand splayed️)

I've been doing a lot of research into private ASD assessment providers in the last 12 months. I feel I'm ready to make that jump from the long waiting list to actually seeking an assessment privately. 

It's a big (and expensive) decision and I'm keen to make the right choice. I came across the NAS autism specialist accreditation and just wondered if anyone knew of any providers that have this?

I know it won't make a huge difference to my decision process but I feel personally that if they did have this accreditation that I'd feel more confident in choosing them.

PS I'm happy to travel to find the right service so distance isn't an issue.

    Just to clarify, you don't need to already be on an NHS waiting list in order to access a diagnostic provider via Right to Choose.

    An initial referral can be made directly to an RTC provider - this is your legal right.

    In my case, the time between my RTC referral and diagnosis was only around 3.5 months.
