Tragically, the former thread has been deleted.
My suspicion (thanks to a friend) is that it may be because I created it under an old ID and that ID has now been deleted, presumably as part of the forum changes that have been taking place.
So, this is the new one.

Here's mine for starters.
Experiments with fractals, planets, effects etc. I used 3 programs to generate these effects- paint.net for fractal, gimp for background, supernova, the globe effect and the fiery ring and krita for stars. Deep space is pitch black (in vacuum photons are invisible, you see only the source of light and the object reflecting it) but in my fantasy it has some shades of colors.
