Tragically, the former thread has been deleted.

My suspicion (thanks to a friend) is that it may be because I created it under an old ID and that ID has now been deleted, presumably as part of the forum changes that have been taking place.

So, this is the new one.

  • I made a 40th birthday card for my pen friend, who is partially sighted and has recently lost her parents. I don’t usually send her cards, but I wanted to help her celebrate. I also included a note asking if she wants to connect with me by email. I shared some updates about my life and mentioned that I prefer not to talk about the past.
