I've been looking for a volunteer role.

I'm only really wanting to work with animals or in the countryside, mainly on my own, so my options are limited.

I've applied for a couple but there aren't many opportunities.

In the past I've collected money for anti-cruelty animal charities, but I did have some very nasty experiences with members of the public.

Does anyone else here volunteer and what do you do?

Also if you were able to volunteer what would you like to do?

  • Hello Debbie, I volunteer for sustrans, the cycle path network charity, and pick litter and clean graffiti off the cycle path signs.  I do it on my own and find it rewarding being out close to nature.  I get lots of thanks from members of the public using the paths.
