I've been looking for a volunteer role.

I'm only really wanting to work with animals or in the countryside, mainly on my own, so my options are limited.

I've applied for a couple but there aren't many opportunities.

In the past I've collected money for anti-cruelty animal charities, but I did have some very nasty experiences with members of the public.

Does anyone else here volunteer and what do you do?

Also if you were able to volunteer what would you like to do?

  • I was in an art gallery today and it appears that most of the people working there were volunteers.

    I'd find it hard nowadays to work closely with people who want to talk to me a lot - I tend to leave the room when people are chattering.

    However, it shows that there are many opportunities to meet people by volunteering, and many and various volunteering opportunities.
