Volunteering

I've been looking for a volunteer role.

I'm only really wanting to work with animals or in the countryside, mainly on my own, so my options are limited.

I've applied for a couple but there aren't many opportunities.

In the past I've collected money for anti-cruelty animal charities, but I did have some very nasty experiences with members of the public.

Does anyone else here volunteer and what do you do?

Also if you were able to volunteer what would you like to do?

    That's good to know as they are endangered.

    I feed mine every night even during hibernation as they can come out briefly to eat.

    There are 2 hedgehog houses in the garden but they aren't using them this year so I'm a little concerned.

    However, I found out that they have a tendency to change hibernation location so hopefully they are just tucked in somewhere else safe and cosy.

    I did put a night camera out a while ago and a fox was eating their food .

    I've taken a couple to a rescue centre as they were out in the daytime and not well.

    Yes, they are cute and quite vulnerable, bless them.
