Hi, looking for a support social group

Hi, I'm going for a diagnosis,  been diagnosed with ADHD already.

I live alone and have alot of trouble meeting people, I live out innthe sticks so also getting places is extremely difficult unless it's on the 1 bus route that goes through here.

Any help would be appreciated  Slight smile

  • Thanks, also, for this pointer. I`ve never heard of this group before. Just signed up for the January online sessionThumbsup

  • Thank you so much for the advice, I really appreciate it, I will give it a go.

  • I attended this support group online called grow confidence in your autism. It’s an online support group for autistic adults and is free and open for diagnosed, self diagnosed or those awaiting an autism assessment. The session is 2 hours long but you don’t have to stay for the full duration. There’s also no pressure to turn your camera on or to speak if you don’t wish to. There’s a chat function so you can always participate there if you wish to contribute but don’t feel up to doing so verbally. The group that runs it is a charity based in Manchester but anyone anywhere is free to join. The staff from the charity help to guide and structure the sessions.
