Happy new year everyone. BBC currently playing Lewis Capaldi’s Someone You Loved over the Edinburgh fireworks, which just about broke me.

  • Happy new year to you too.  I went to bed 4 hours ago as there was a big party at our house, not my idea 20 plus people being noisy and drinking. I wasn’t feeling well but that was only half the reason why I had to escape. The party is still going on now, my worst nightmare. Thought I would feel more comfortable in familiar surroundings but instead I felt like no escape.
