Assessment on Tuesday 24th

I'm having an autism assessment on Tuesday. I feel quite anxious about it and despite knowing some things about it that it's 45 minutes with two people and we'll be looking through the results of a questionnaire I filled out, I still feel like I don't really know what to expect. I have read a bit about other peoples experiences often anticlimatic but I'd appreciate any advice or descriptions from anyone who has recently gone through the process. I also think I have OCD and I'm trying to work out which bits of how I work correspond to that and which may be more potentially to do with autism.

  • I had mine a couple of months ago and got my results last Friday. Mine was split, I had several online questionnaires to fill in, a video call where we went over the questions in greater details and covered some other bits,  finally I had the ados-2 bit face to face. I actually enjoyed the last bit, I just tried to relax and be honest and open, it massively over ran as I tend to chunter on when I'm nervous but the assessor was really nice and just nudged me back on course every once in a while.

    Good luck
