Apology for careless posting about a survey recruitment

Hi, this is June. I would like to sincerely apologize for my previous careless posting in this forum. I did not pay much attention to the community rules about posting survey recruiment. I am really sorry about that.

And greatly thankfulness to longman, who replied my post and point out this important mistake. Thank you.

And I would also like to reply few of your questions, while we are preparing our survey application to NAS.

First, as a part of this community, we have the same goal as everyone else, is to support people with autism and their parents and carers, to better understand their situation, therefore looking for or developing better suggestions to both policy and practical intervention. As a special educator, I always believe the different needs of these individuals are not only their own business, everyone in the society has the resposibility to support! But we are still far away from that goal. That's why we need advocacy and raising awareness.

Second, about the privacy and safety part of our research, we do provide a detailed information and consent form for all of our participants when you click our study link. It includes our project title, information of PI, purpose of the research, potential benefits and risks of the survey, privacy and confidential, participant rights, contact information of the PI and the university Human Research Protection Program, who supervising the conduct of this project. And we of course got the IRB approval before we started our research.

Third, about the vadility of online survey. Thank you again, longman, you've pointed out a very important point. That's true, there definitely will be some inaccuracy or error in the online survey. Actually, errors are inavoidable in any research, all we can do is to minimize them as much as we can. So with the techonology support, we will try our best to detect them and exclude them from our final analyses. Also we will do logistic check to make to increase the precision of our results.

Hope longman can see this post, and appreciate for your kindness again.
