Is there any agency out there who will actually apply for jobs on my behalf?

Writing on behalf of my partner who is so low right now he is feeling suicidal. He's been and out of jobs for years and says people never understand him and he has constantly had comments of him being rude and not getting on with others. For this reason, he has been looking for remote jobs in either administration or data annotation and analysis but is having no responses.

He literally feels he cannot work with others again as he's had so many bad experiences but is desperate for a job and feels so resentful and angry of others who can get on in work. 

Does anyone know of any agencies who can actually find and apply for him suitable jobs? He's seeing Seetec who have just told him to amend his linked in profile, Send4 who helped him with a cover letter and nothing else and scope who helped him with his cv but nothing else. 

He is feeling so desperate and I feel upset for him too so sorry for the rant.

Of note, he is awaiting an autism diagnosis (he feels he has aspergers).

  • This is/was me. Partial solutions that work for me are:

    1: Contract work. I know how long I am contracted for, so can ignore the politics and unsually my co-workers crapulence becuase I knwo there is an end in sight. Only problem with this is the application process, it really does help to have soemone else do that for me.

    2. Deciding what I am good at, and then directly touting fro work in the field, "Yosser Hughes style" but with less pathos and no headbutt. (That approach got me the work I am now doing, and previously got me into Aviation maintenance despite having no previous experince or training). There's a crisis of competence in this country right now, which means that there is work available if you can demonstrably do it to an above average standard.

    Hello, can I ask what contract work you do? He only has experience in factories and some administration

    Currently I'm doing wiring and panels for industrial control. I personally collect skills ratehr than job titles, then I look for where I can apply those skills sucessffully, then I chase work in those areas, until someone gives me a go. I then either maze them with my talent or occasioanlly ineptitude.

    I've given up on a career for life or job securty long ago, resturctured my life so I don't have debt or mch in the way of regular outgoings, and I swing between poverty and wealth compeltly randomly, but I do have a little self respect left now.

    Can't spend or eat self respect, of course...
