Hi all, could anyone recommend any autism related podcasts I could try please. I learnt so much from The ADHD Adults Podcast that I was hoping for something similar for the autism side of things.
Thank you!

Hi Chissy. I have a science/healthcare background myself and was diagnosed ASD type 1 2 years ago. I have recently found a series of podcasts by Dr Theresa Regan called "Autism n the Adult" Either by coincidence with my being ready to understand, because they "talk to me", are simply of good content and presentation or perhaps a combination of many factors I can recommend them as the best I've found yet :-) I would suggest starting from the beginning and then "dipping in" to topics that are particularly interesting/relevant to you. Since the presenter is a clinical psychologist with autism in their family there is science content, good understandable examples and practical tips for what is being covered. I have to say tho' that since the topics covered reveal things about oneself which may be quite tough to come to terms with sometimes, personally, I've found making sure of a good support network (such as this forum perhaps), giving the information time to sink in and being kind to oneself along the way are important. All the best :-)
