How to choose a doctor on Psychiatry UK?

I've recently received a link from Psychiatry UK to choose an assessment date and time for an Autism assessment.

On the booking site I can choose from loads of different doctors to do my assessment.

How am I meant to choose? What criteria should I use?

Each doctor has a profile but these have an overwhelming amount of information, much of it irrelevant.

  • Ugh, tell me about it. Those portal bios are always completely useless when you're trying to find someone you can actually trust. I know this thread is over a year old, but honestly, anyone landing here today is probably facing the exact same headache.

    When I was stuck in that loop, I stopped relying on the basic profiles and started cross-referencing names elsewhere just to get some peace of mind.
