SHOUT loudly on phones on public transport/in public places and even put them on LOUD SPEAKER!!!!
Why is there LOUD music in every place I go to eat and/or have a coffee even if it's a nice little countryside place like the one I went into today. Who wants it? The customers or the staff?

A moan a day is the well balanced way.
Because they are selfish and don't think how this might effect others around them. I was in the waiting room at the doctors at the start of the week and a man randomly started talking on his phone, loudly and after he decided he couldn't hear he put it on loud speaker. I find it annoying that people in public places, in particular on the train have long private conversations in ear shot of dozens of people and they act like it is no big deal. These people have the look on their face like it is a life or death situation... when it's just Janine said what to Kay
