Diagnosed Age

Hello, I was 46 when diagnosed. Still makes me a litle bit sad typing the age however after the first year post diagnosis I am in therapy and hoping to find more neurodiverse connections and friends.  One of my old school friends messaged me so we have been chatting and I have this group.  I have some mental health challanges due to the trauma of not having a childhhod diagnsosis. I am glad this space is here. I dont have any ND friends in my community though and have been here 8 years.

    I’m new to this community myself ^^ but already found it a fun and useful place. Finding ND people can be challenging in person but this group is a good step in the right direction.

    I was diagnosed at a very early age and remember feeling a mix of emotions but I think that’s normal after the diagnosis. There is no wrong or right way to feel.
