Hello, I am Hilary Davies, a UK-based autistic music therapist. As part of my PhD research about music therapy with autistic people, I am conducting an online survey entitled “Consulting the Autistic Community about Music Therapy”. The survey is open to all autistic people (diagnosed or self-diagnosed/ self-identified) over the age of 18., whether you have had music therapy before or not.
I want to find out what autistic people want from music therapy, what you would like music therapists to know about autistic people, and how you would like music therapy with autistic people to develop in the future.
There is an Easy Read version of the survey available. The survey is anonymous and it is not compulsory to answer all of the questions. I hope to share the results with other music therapists, through articles and conference presentations.
