What do your days consist of?

What does your average day look like?

My perfect happy routine was shattered and I’ve not been able to find a new routine since. I no longer have the luxury of going out for a drive, something I did, regularish. At home I try to busy myself but normally I’ll do the same thing each day which isn’t a lot.

Days consist of,

Cooking, reading, looking through pictures, listening to music and cleaning. I will occasionally go shopping normally now on a Saturday when I get my drink. I have thought of volunteering but I lack the courage to do it and I don’t have the ambition since being on my own.

Parents

  • For myself, a typical week is as follows:

    Monday to Friday: Work 8am to 5pm

    Saturday: 8am to 1pm, and the following Saturday I have off. Alternating.

    Sunday: Day Off

    After work, I pick up the wife and daughter and we either go home or go to the supermarket varying on circumstances. When we do get home, I get the dinner done whilst my wife tidies up and gets things sorted for my daughters bedtime. After dinner and bath night, varying on what day it is, Zoey is put to bed routinely between 7:00pm and 7:30pm

    Mt wife and I enjoy time to ourselves, whether she's catching up with soaps, housework or resting. And I like to head up to the bedroom and rest in the dark for a while to enjoy the peace and quiet, before coming downstairs to either put a strategy or racing game on the computer, before we head up to bed. 

    I work half days on Saturday when it is my teams turn, to which I perform the role of dispatcher. At 1pm, I head home to chill out in bed and enjoy the peace whilst watching a gaming playlist to doze off to.

    Sundays, my wife is at work, and me and my daughter have a day if fun, whether it's going over to my mums or just sitting in for the day, playing games, watching Paw Patrol, I'm easy. 

    The following week is usually the same, but this Saturday coming is my day off, to which me and my wife sleep in till about 9:00am, then we head off for a coffee before I drop her at her mums with Zoey. I head home to enjoy my afternoon to do as I wish :)
