What does your average day look like?

My perfect happy routine was shattered and I’ve not been able to find a new routine since. I no longer have the luxury of going out for a drive, something I did, regularish. At home I try to busy myself but normally I’ll do the same thing each day which isn’t a lot.

Days consist of,

Cooking, reading, looking through pictures, listening to music and cleaning. I will occasionally go shopping normally now on a Saturday when I get my drink. I have thought of volunteering but I lack the courage to do it and I don’t have the ambition since being on my own.

Parents

  • Three days a week I work in the mornings, in the afternoons I go to walk my mum's dog while she is at work. The other two days I work morning and afternoon. In the evenings I come home and have a cup of tea with my neighbour, then we either cook dinner together or go cook something ourselves. We watch gardeners world while eating, and then maybe a drama if we are up for it. Lately I have been watching the Bake Off with my lodger. I might have a cup of decaf tea and check my social media or watch TV or listen to a podcast before bed. I don't get to sleep very easily so I put off going to bed as it's horrible to lie tossing and turning and checking the time and then just get to sleep for an hour or so before my alarm goes off.
