Please check the Valla website. Their primary focus is to equip people to take on their own cases and have loads of resources. You can even get legal opinions for a fixed fee.
I am nearly in this position but my union are stalling starting a case as they believe redeployment is a better option. I disagree.
It is very hard for us autists to do all this without support.
Thank you for the suggestion about Valla, I'll check them out.
This has got me in bits - not even just about my actual case/issue - more the procedural side making sure I comply with the set processes etc.
Compensation, lost earnings, interest etc - I had no idea it was up to me to determine what level of award to ask for as I thought that would be down to the judge to determine. I am so naive and stupid, It all seems very confusing and complicated to someone like me, making me worry this puts me at a massive disadvantage to my organisation's legal team who will deal with these quite regularly.
I have a great deal of empathy with your situation. Hopefully you have the trait of hyperfocus so that you can learn as much as possible about the process.
I take you are not in a union?
Please speak to someone like the citizens advice for good advice the may even put you in touch with advocacy services which will help speak for you.
I've spent the majority of today reading the rules of tribunals, guides on how to complete the agenda for preliminary hearing (still confusing), multiple reddit posts, and now the valla site. I see they offer a specific package to assist with this, but it's £225 :(
One part of me craves to know everything there is to know about it (for self preservation) whilst having everything expertly filed/organised etc - the other part of me is battling with the tornado of thoughts in my head making the first part even more difficult :( hate this
