Clumsiness and accidents

This thread is dedicated to SpikeyMark who recently recounted the distressing episode of the ginger bread people massacre (with equally distressing photos).

Photos are in the thread below (if you can bear to look)

What accidents have you had that might be worth recounting?

I've had about 2 million, but one I remember well was buying a glass lampshade and walking out of the shop and bashing it straight into a lampost - I'd broken it within about a minute of leaving the shop.

Parents
  • There are quite many corners and turns in my flat, so I always hear from my husband “careful” and I always bump into something. He also often tells our daughter, careful, mama is here! It hurts a bit but once I lost my balance and pushed my daughter accidentally. So yeah, he is right. When I come, everything and everyone must be careful.

  • This made me smile - not that you bump in to your daughter - but that I'm not the only one who did this! I was forever doing this with my little one and assumed at one point it was a me thing. Don't feel bad, we've all been there Laughing
