I'm currently job searching after being made redundant and I'm finding it so difficult.
I'm a high masking auDHD woman and since gaining self-awareness I don't want to repeat the same experiences with horrible co-workers and managers. I'm thinking about going into IT so that there's more chance of working with neurodivergent people and while I do seem to be naturally good at and interested in this area, I don't have much experience.
It's a big change and I've just hit middle age so I just don't know whether to pursue this or carry on masking in retail or something and possibly get burnt out. Anyone know any entry level IT careers that are easy to get into? (I hate the interview process; I'm not great at speaking and I hate claiming to be brilliant at everything.)
